Perranuthnoe again! One of my favourite places and a great place to walk our dog. Its unusual in west Cornwall because the coast path crosses meadows bounded by tamarisk trees – and all barely above sea level. Most of the walks we do are atop 200ft cliffs – dramatic and exhilarating but way above, rather than close to, the sea. This is a re-working of a painting I posted a few months ago. It represents Spring rather than Summer, reflecting my preference for that season. I do love the summer but its not as inspiring for me as a painter (except perhaps for the deep cerulean skies).
