Click on the image for the whole picture.  A 50x60cm mixed media on canvas reworking of a small en plein air painting I made on paper at Perranuthnoe a few weeks ago.  Working on canvas in the studio is a very different discipline to working in site, (in this case on a beach in the sun).  Some of the emotional response to being in that particular environment on that particular day is lost.  However, constructing a painting with the intention of creating a satisfactory composition is just as rewarding.
