Playing with the stones theme again.  Their texture and the way they are aligned when they are used in Cornish hedges interests me here.  I think this painting exemplifies the concept of an ‘unresolved duality’ as it is split down the middle.  But this is the risk I was prepared to take in order to create the tension and contrast between the left and right sides.
