A throw-back to my Cornish industrial paintings, this 40x50cm canvas (click on the image for the full picture) painted last week was an excuse to use a colour palette that is unusual for me.  Earth colours and black – a very wintry choice, but also appropriate for the subject.  I suppose I’ll never completely throw off my architectural background!
