More painterly is this 35x45cm canvas which is perhaps a hangover from my Cornish industrial phase which started around 2017. I’m not Cornish, and grew up in the north where my experience of industrial architecture began. I’ve created a different kind of surface from that of my recent work on board or paper but there’s the same emphasis on mark making and a limited pallet.
