.If you live near the sea you’re eyes are always drawn to the horizon. For us it is to our west and therefore can forecast weather for us. When I’m walking my dog along the coastal path I’m constantly watching it for changes. It is sometimes a sharp line dividing sea from sky, either of which could be almost any colour, Usually the sea is darker but its very dramatic if their tone roles are reversed. When rain is imminent it begins to blur and then disappear. That’s the time to make a run for it!  In this painting I have expressed its significance. It will be on exhibited at Thackeray Gallery later next week in my solo show there.
