This 60x60cm canvas is an interpretation of the black, white and yellow drawings that I was making everyday during the first Covid lockdown.  Keeping it simple but not compromising richness by articulating the surface with a variety of marks.

Gannets feature in this 60x60cm painting on canvas too. They can be visually dramatic sometimes but in this image I was emphasizing their elegance.  The birds crossing of the otherwise unbroken and clearly defined horizon was important.
