This 27x32cm wood panel is going to the Cornwall Contemporary Gallery in Penzance for their mixed show later in the month.  It has a summer celebratory feel about it which feels appropriate.

A few years ago I spent a week or so drawing at Hayle, mostly in and around the harbour.  Recollections of that time are continually resurfacing.  This is a 50x60cm canvas.

I used to be leader of the school orchestra (Kings School Macclesfield).  I was NOT a good player.  I suppose everyone else must have been worse!  This small panel is part of my ‘Montol’ series.
