Click on the image for the full picture.  The landscape in west Cornwall is littered with telegraph poles and lines.  I can see several from my studio, and often they seem to be a magnet for birds.  Buzzards and kites enjoy them as lookout posts and rooks enjoy congregating on them.  When they are startled, (it doesn’t take much!), they scatter in a chaotic flurry.  This just such a moment.  ‘Pole Dancers’ 100x80cm.
