Having spent a lot of the spring and early summer using a lot of yellow as a response to new growth in the landscape, I’m now enjoying the midsummer colours.  It isn’t often so dry for so long here, and with the heat the grasses are the most beautiful colours.  I might title this en plein air painting (about 20x20cm on paper), ‘Dry grasses on the Coast Path.’
