 Still on the theme of boundaries is this recent painting (30x30cm, mixed media on canvas).  Its a little more abstract examination of an ancient stone boundary and a younger improvised, probably temporary fence, used to sub-divide a farmland field.  Neither look very sturdy – the wall is old but the fence is short lived and is the sign of a landowner keeping his future options open, unwilling to commit in a time of continual changes in the market, or just unable to afford the labour required to erect something more durable,
