At the moment I’m continuing work on pieces that I started in spring.  I think this one, (25x30cm, mixed media on canvas), has been brought to a satisfactory conclusion.  Its been on and off the easel for quite a few months.  Some paintings are like a sprint, some, more like a marathon.  But I’ve learnt to trust that if I can’t finish a painting quite quickly, I can set it aside and develop it further at a later date.  Sometimes I just have to be patient!
