I decided to develop the idea contained in the painting that I posted last week.  It wasn’t as bright as my usual paintings and had, for me, an unusual mood.  The new painting is brighter, and the composition has been reconsidered but it is static and safely symmetrical. Not what I’m usually looking for. Not much in the way of dynamics either…….and that cloud looks ominous! As an artist friend said ‘there’s a heavy weight bearing down and the way forward is blocked.’  I must be feeling insecure. 40x40cm mixed media on canvas.
