.  Some small drawings (click on the image to see all the drawings) made whilst walking through the field behind my studio.  I’ve started to incorporate a chinagraph pencil recently to vary the quality of marks I can achieve.  Its very different to graphite being black and waxy rather than grey and smooth.  It can certainly add punch to a composition and might inspire some larger paintings.
