Click on the image for the whole picture.  This is the walk back to my studio from the coast path in summer. A 23x29cm painting on board using only yellow and black.  Not as vigorous a discipline as some of my recent pallets as I’ve used two yellows, one cooler than the other.  Granite stones of all sizes lie everywhere, some have emerged from the fields surfaces after ploughing and some are the remnants of long fallen granite ‘hedges’ where fence posts are used as a substitute because they are quicker and easier to erect.  They don’t last for very long either.  The landscape is subject to slow but constant change.
