After making a lot of drawings on paper and small paintings on board, often with a reduced palette (around the yellow end of the spectrum), I painted this larger 100 x 80cm canvas in the studio recently. There is still a reduced palette but with a shift toward the orange/blue axis.  The birds are gannets which I have taken to watching from the coast path close to my studio.
