I’m currently finishing some paintings on board, (this one 28x28cm) that are derived from drawings made en plein air many months ago.  Sometimes it just takes time to see the potential that these drawings have, probably, with the passage of time, a greater objectivity and discernment is possible. That’s not to say that the subject matter and the way that it is painted is objective.  Far from it.
