I’ve been revisiting St Loy’s cove, with its magical, boulder strewn beach. There’s a stream which meanders through a wood and then disappears below the perfectly round granite boulders on the beach and then invisibly flows into the sea. Its a 20 minute walk from my studio and I’m posting below some photos I took on my last walk there last week. Above is a painting I made last year inspired by what is a very special place for me. Perhaps you can understand why I find it so inspiring a place.
