A large canvas (120x120cm) which I’ve been working on for months and which I think is nearing fruition at last.  Over the last few days I’ve shared my studio with three swallows and then two chaffinches.  A consequence of me always having the door and window open.  I’m often visited by a wren .  The first few times I had to catch her, but she knows his own way out now.

The swallows, especially, can be very distracting as they dart around overhead.  They are impossible to catch!  But they all found their way out eventually and are free to enjoy the rest of the summer now.  There are a couple of photos on my facebook page (link on this site’s home page).
