Really hot in the studio this week. When I built the studio I decided to have a lot of windows and roof-lights to admit as much natural light as possible. The Cornish climate is mild in winter so I didn’t worry too much about losing a lot of heat in the colder months, and I rarely have any heating on. The bi g compromise comes in summer. The temperature didn’t drop below 25deg all week and climbed to 30deg on Wednesday afternoon. So I’ve been taking it a bit easy, but managed to more or less finish this 40x50cm painting on a wood panel. The cool blue sea looks very inviting right now!
