A small painting on a wood panel that I finished some time ago but which I’ve only just decided is now ‘officially’ finished.  Loosely based on my studio garden it features a palm tree that is really not looking very well now (maybe 12 months later).   I think the strong winds that blew a couple of weeks ago may have weakened it.  I’m just hoping it’ll survive.  I pass it every day on my way into the studio, watched it grow (at a phenomenal rate) and I’d really miss it if it wasn’t there.

This is a new one featuring a medieval knight guarding a doorway.  I have a fascination for medieval  history, but it doesn’t often find a way into my painting.   Below is another example – a small piece finished earlier this year.
